ECBC COMPLIANCE ANALYSIS
We are currently engaged in preparing an ECBC compliance report for a project, with a specific emphasis on compliance related to Printed Circuit Boards (PCB). As part of this process, we meticulously analyze the building designs, encompassing both the envelope (building shell) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. Leveraging specialized energy modeling software, we develop an energy model based on these designs, which is then meticulously compared against the ECBC baseline to ascertain the Energy Performance Index (EPI).
The Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) was formulated in accordance with the mandates of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Energy Conservation Act of 2001. This act empowers the Central Government to define norms and standards for energy consumption in buildings. Our overarching objective is to ensure alignment of the building's energy performance with the stringent requirements stipulated in the ECBC. To achieve this, we conduct a comprehensive analysis to evaluate compliance and accurately calculate the EPI.
Subsequently, the compliance report undergoes thorough scrutiny and is submitted for review, ensuring strict adherence to the regulatory framework established by the Central Government to foster energy efficiency in buildings
